Free security alarm monitoring

PRLog (Press Release)– Mar 08, 2011– The company offer every account a unique phone number which users direct their security alarm to. In the event of an alarm, Alertee will initiate a conference call with the accounts registered phone numbers which are administered online via their website. The system is essentially self monitoring as Alertee intentionally do not offer guards or call centre services. If an alarm goes off, you will be in a conference call with family, friends, neighbour's or work colleagues to respond to your own alarm or call the police as required.

Alertee claim that with a unique number, users can enter it into their mobile contacts list, see incoming calls, call the number to initiate a conference call or even text message it to update other account users on events. It essentially acts as a unique account on existing mobile phones so no special equipment or apps are required. "My mother who struggles with the internet uses alertee to monitor my house alarm," claims Richard Matthews, Alertee Director and one of the company founders.

Alertee bill voice and text and do not have a monthly fee for monitoring a security alarm as per the current industry norm so it appears to be a unique offering. There is a one off annual charge of less than $20 for the unique phone number. Alertee claim their voice and billing rates are on par with standard telco rates due to their access to wholesale telecommunications providers.
